4 packages instant ramen (maruchan ramen noodles are very tasty, and quite cheap to purchase)
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 japanese eggplant, chopped
any other vegetable you want to toss in, chopped or coarsely grated*
1/2 pound ground meat, cooked and drained
1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
2 tablespoons tokonomi sauce (optional but good)
cook ramen according to package directions, but do not add flavour packets. drain ramen, and rinse in cold water. set aside. (remember not to overcook ramen) steam vegetables 3-5 minutes, just until tender. heat oil in large skillet. add noodles. add ground meat. add vegetables. mix 'em all! pour sauces over ramen mix, and stir to distribute evenly. serve hot. makes four servings.
*note: carrots and sweet red peppers are tasty, but not very authentic.
